Who Wore What - LFWM

With London Fashion Week Mens over and the fashion world off to Italy for Pitti Uomo, we’ve spent some time this week casting an eye over the leading styles and trends from those in attendance. With the best inspiration often coming from those on the streets rather than on the runway, we give you a look at what London’s most stylish wore.

Whether it was due to London’s typically cold weather or just that they’re bang on trend, down filled jackets seemed to be the flavour of the month with the likes of Oliver Cheshire, David Furnish and a whole host of others all getting in on quilted jacket trend.

Following on with the warmth trend, LFWM gave us a lot of Sherpa and Borg. From the lining of jackets to fully Sherpa overshirts and hoods, it was everywhere and rightly so. During the transitional period between Winter and Spring, Borg linings are ideal with the mild weather and blistering winds. The added bonus is how good it looks both smart and casual too.

For too long menswear has relied on black, grey, navy and white so it was pretty nice to see an array of colours on show over the weekend. From bright pinks, burnt oranges and greens, the streets of London were full of it. A splash of colour can really transform a look at move you from the realms of normality to standing out and making people turn their head. It’s not for everybody – but it’s worth giving a try.
