New Age Streetwear
Street style used to mean wearing the brands that nobody had heard of, tracksuits, baseball caps and the most limited edition trainers money could buy. It was inevitable that dressing that way would eventually become mainstream and nowadays pretty much everyone knows what five years ago nobody did. So that begs the question, what is streetwear now? Well thanks to a surge in 'hipster-cool', streetwear is no longer about skate tees and baggy jeans but about putting together an outfit that wouldn't look out of place in Back To The Future.
With it being late January, the winter weather is a little unpredictable in the run up to spring and this new age of streetwear is perfectly suited to having to lose layers pretty quickly as we cut in and out of shops throughout the day. Crew neck sweaters, stonewash denim, washed out tees & quirky trousers have become quite the vintage-Americana uniform and why not when it looks so good? So we've put together a couple of looks to keep you on trend.
