Blade Runner 2049 Trailer
"Replicans are like any other machine: they're either a benefit or a hazard."
The 'love it or hate it' classic that is Blade Runner has finally made a welcome return with a sequel set for release in October 2017. Whilst that seems a mighty long time from now, fans have been clambering over themselves to get a glimpse of the recent trailer for Blade Runner 2049. The futuristic '80s film has been tagged as being a cult classic, like many of Ridley Scott's films, and has a loyal fanbase who are keen to see the film be done justice.
The trailer itself doesn't give much away, arguably how trailers should be, only that Harrison Ford is back to reprise his role as Rick Deckard alongside the newest Blade Runner in the form of Ryan Gosling's Officer K. What it lacks in spoilers it certainly offers in tension, wetting the appetite of old and new fans of the classic with a wonderfully curated set and anticipation-building sound. What is clear however is that the world isn't the same in 2049, it isn't as simple, neither is the job.
